We can help you keep your remote programmed, dakdoc.

Try troubleshooting your remote, then see if it deprograms from your TV after pressing the AT&T button.

If it does, let us know what model your remote is and what brand your TV is, so we can take a closer look and find out what could be causing this.

We'll be awaiting your response.

Good Morning, dakdoc! My name is Matthew and I am going to assisting you. I understand that you are having a problem with your U-Verse TV remote staying programmed when you switch it to use the receiver correct?

In looking over our interaction, I see that that either one of these two things could help resolve the problem.

Either a replacement remote or a replacement U-Verse TV receiver can do the trick, since we had you try another remote on the same receiver and it did the same thing.

So, if you have not already used the order link that we have provided to order a replacement remote, I would love to help you do that.

In your next reply, please state which product you would like for me to replace and I will order that replacement for you.

Reminder: Due to supply chain issues delivery of either product can go outside the 5-7 day delivery threshold.

If you would like the receiver replaced, please state what room location it is in, so I can match it.

Looking forward to your next reply.

Hi there, Irwin! Matthew here from the AT&T Community Forums. Just checking up with you. I see that the replacement has been delivered to you.  Just to remind you that your due date to install the replacement is on 12/16/2021. I will be following up again on the 16th.

Reminder: Please send back the DVR that we are replacing back in the collection kit that accompanied the replacement to UPS, so you do not get charged for the old DVR.

I am looking forward to speaking with you.

I could not use the new DVR as it wasn't registered. I am able to use the old with an S30 remote and moved the box so I don't need the AR remote...all is good. Interestingly I have 3 AR remotes that won't program to any of my receivers...can't believe they all are bad
