Why do the techs think that we consumers are stupid?  I asked for the reason that my DVR needed to be reset and the Offshore Tech, Judy said the DVR was tired and needed a rest...  REALLY????

Resetting your DVR or RG is not a big deal.  Just don't do it when you're recording something.  I know there are some long time customers that believe you should reset your modem once a week.  Me?  I don't but if something is awry, that's the first line of defense.  "When in doubt, reboot."

 

But I have to admit that the reasoning given by the tech is pretty funny.
