why am i still with AT&T??? Lost my recordings

After 10 years with them and dealing with their bull, I am wondering why I stick around.  They had the wrong number of boxes on my account, fixed it, and deleted all of my recordings.  All because I called in about a promotion change.  After 1 hour, they only managed to take it off of my account and delete all of my recordings while also locking up my box from recording more shows.  I fixed it myself then chatted to report it and allow them to make it right by me.  He had me restart my box, then my gateway, knowing that he would lose me because my internet connection would go down.  He assured me a supervisor would call me in 20 minutes.  3 hours later, no call.  I chatted again and a supervisor then called me, and HUNG UP!!  He then called me back and tried to troubleshoot the issue that I already fixed myself last week.  He couldnt understand how I fixed it myself or why I was actually calling.  He tried to offer me free channels that I told him I would not watch.  They need to fix their customer service issue, fast.  I will be taking my business to a competitor the first chance I get.

Well now....that's a new one.  An ATT employee remotely deleted all of your recordings and locked your DVR? 

 

I've had Uverse 9+ years and have been a participant on these message boards for almost that long and I've never heard of ATT deleting a customer's recordings and locking their DVR up.

 

And you say you fixed it yourself?  How did you do that...just in case it happens to other subs.

that way i never been hapy with att bad serv  all going off line the bill never right

and what you pay with att you get a beter on on serve then much fast beter
