Wireless Recievers not able to watch DVR recordings

I just updated my att fiber/uverse with Orbi mesh system.  I have the att 5628ac gateway wifi turned off and using the Orbi as access point.  The dvr and WAP are connected to the att gateway.  I have noticed that now the wireless receivers constantly are on the first channel saved in my guide when I turn the tv on and none of the recording from the DVR will show on the receiver.  I am unable to playback live tv also.  I was having issues with the wireless receivers freezing for a few seconds but appear to resolve that problem by changing the 5g channel on the Orbi.  Any idea how to get the DVR recordings to appear again on the wireless receivers?  I have unplugged the att gateway and plugged back in but that did not appear to fix the issue.  Thanks.
