Wireless TV Box and DVR work with another ISP?
I have U-verse tv (2 wireless boxes and 1 hardwired dvr box) and internet. I am thinking about canceling internet in favor of another company due to low internet speed (25 mgb) offered in my area.
Will my two wireless boxes still work? Will I end up paying even more when I can cancel the internet (due to U-verse having shady billing/packages)?
Thoughts?

Here is what my bill says:
AT&T U-verse TV U300 all included (2-Year Price Guarantee Offer with Bundle) (expires in 2020).
Does that hat mean when I cancel internet, the bundle price will increase and void?

One would have to assume so.

Why not call "retentions" and see what they say? Call 800-288-2020 and specify "retentions" as you navigate down the phone tree. That's who you would have to call anyway to cancel your internet (If you specify "cancel" instead of "retentions" you still end up in the same department). Retentions will be able to tell you the pricing, early termination fees if any, etc.
Update:
By the way, if you drop the att internet but keep uverse tv have you thought about the additional wiring you may have to install? The existing wiring to support uverse will not change so adding internet from another service means adding additional wiring if not already in place to support that. For example if you switch to a cable company like comcrap do you already have coax wiring in place for it? If not are you prepared to have it installed?
Finally, is having tv service from one company and internet from another really cost effective? If you are going to switch the internet I would recommend switching the tv service to that same company too.

Thanks for the info, I will call retentions.
In my case, yes, having two different providers for internet and tv can be cost effective as my company reimburses for internet.
However, I essentially want to get over 100 mgb internet from another company and also trial sling, dirertv now, or one of the other app based providers. The only two reasons I don’t drop U-verse completely are the wireless boxes and dvr.
