Doesn't it eventually go out?  Generally you don't need WPS for anything, certainly not att equipment.  What happens if you reboot the dvr?

 

You might want to try factory resetting the gateway.  Push red button on the back for about 10 seconds.

I have rebooted everything and my TV U Verse is still not working.  I had a tech come out Tuesday and upgrade my internet and the same day my U Verse went out.  Now I have to wait 6 days for someone to come out and fix it.  It is terrible to host Thanksgiving at your house with no TV (sports channels...)Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S9+, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone

Did that include factory reset the gateway like I also suggested you try? 

 

Exactly what is happening when you start up the dvr?  Saying "it don't work" doesn't convey and details!  Tv's input is set to the hdmi connection from your dvr.  You plug in your dvr.  Then what do you see on the tv screen?

 

Also, ignoring the wps light, which I assume should be off after a factory reset, are there any other red lights on the front of the gateway?  If so which ones?
