You don't access Amazon Prime on your DirecTV or DIRECTV STREAM account.
If you have the DIRECTV STREAM branded TV box (Gemini), that allows you to download other apps to it just like other streaming boxes (Roku, Firestick, etc.).
That app is downloaded to the box which has nothing to do with your DirecTV account.
However, the Gemini does include Prime Video (and Netflix, Max, AppleTV+, and I believe some others) in the program guide list and has the matching apps pre-installed, so users might get the impression that those are part of the service.
@Brooklynmike - If that is the case (you tried selecting the Prime Video “channel” from the program guide on a Gemini), be aware that this is just a shortcut to run the app. That is all it is - it starts the app without you having to go through the app launcher. For it to be useful, you’ll need a Prime subscription and will need to provide the app your Prime login credentials. The same is true for the other premium services accessed by app that are in the guide. As far as I know, it doesn’t matter if you subscribe to those services through DTV or separately. This is different from those premium services that you subscribe to as part of your DTV account that have linear channels, like HBO - those are really channels, though for HBO at least, there is also an app (Max) you can launch from the guide.

DirecTV Stream or DirecTV Satellite? What device are you using? Have you downloaded the app?
