Annoying repetitive commercial

I had DirecTV satellite and got the normal commercial which was fine.  On DirecTV  streaming I must get the same local commercial 110-20 times an hour, day after day.  If I go back to satellite it will be Dish but  I might just drop DirecTV streaming.  I do not have this issue on any of my other streaming services.

DirecTV doesn't determine the commercials you see. The station/network does.

The issue is not DirecTV vs Dish. The issue is satellite TV vs streaming.

DIRECTV STREAM is a streaming service. If you watch shows on a network's personal website, you will notice the commercials are repetitive, and usually more than on live TV channels va cable or satellite.

DirecTV is satellite, so has normal commercial breaks that aren't repetitive (unless the network has sold a lot of slots to the same company of course). However, anything from "On Demand" is from the channel's online library so can have the same annoyances as if on their personal streaming website.

Some streaming providers are better than others. But in the end, it is the channel that determines what and how many commercials. The TV provider simply broadcasts exactly what they receive.

DirecTV stream replaces original programming commercials with their own set of commercials on certain channels. I know for a fact that they do it almost every commercial break on TBS TNT, TV land, nickelodeon, CMT, and a few more. If you keep seeing the same commercials over and over, you can change the channel for a couple of seconds after the commercial break starts and then change it back and it will be a different commercial. I do it all the time because I get sick of seeing the same commercials over and over. The commercials that DirecTV stream forces out seem to be for CBS / Paramount programming.
