ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE???!!!!!

How can Directv Stream justify increasing the cost AGAIN and still do not provide FOX or NBC (probably more)?  The increases have gotten ridiculous.  I have been a loyal customer for YEARS but I am actively looking for a new platform.  Surely with the increases that have been happening you can afford to put the channels back in the lineup.

They do provide FOX and NBC. Either there is no carriage agreement with your local broadcasters or they are on dispute. Have you checked the status using your zip code or the TV promise website?

Perhaps it is time to seek another service. They are plenty of options available.

Networks increase their costs to TV providers. That of course raises the customer's bill eventually. That is the justification, simple economics.

If cost and/or channel selection doesn't work for you, then reduce service or go elsewhere. That are your options.

Keep in mind no provider is guaranteed to provide your local Fox or NBC (or any other channel) always or ever. Channels are subject to change at any time and some local affiliate owners have been fighting more to increase rates and withholding the feed (such as Nexstar did recently, which is continuing as they have some control over Mission and White Knight owned stations).

Cost increase rolls downhill, so you can thank channels like your locals for that.
