Apple TV won’t connect to DirectTV Stream Account

For several days since the app update my Apple TV will no longer connect to my DTV Stream account. It just tells me it can’t connect to server. The only thing that has changed is the app update. I have deleted the app, restarted the Apple TV, reset the network and everything to no avail. What is happening.

In this case, we suggest you to change your password in your Apple TV or in any Apple device you may have, set a new one and tell us if it works.

Just to add... I'm having a few issues since the update... Mac, Apple TV, and Firestick since the update.

For the ATV, I would just get a black screen for minute with nothing. I deleted the app, restarted the ATV, all with no change. What I needed to do was just wait....approx 3-5 min for the app to finish loading and then it just started working. Since the update, there's definitely something going on as this happens again a day later.

Might try the suggestion above regarding new password.

The message that pops up when trying to set up TV provider is “Your TV provider service is temporarily unavailable” please try again later. It’s been happening for several days.

The service has been having a lot of outage the last few days. Most are receiving a "Care Code 600", black screens, and connection problems. There are many posts in the forum by subscribers on all devices. You might try and search the forum and get acquainted with the issues taking place.
