audio out of sync

When using the DirecTV Stream app on my ROKU the audio is not in sync with the video. The people's lips are way off, as well as the spoken words.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the app with no improvement.

After I posted this I realized that my AppleTV didn't have the problem - only the ROKU. Their trouble-shooting web page suggested a reboot. That fixed the problem!

Do all of the channels have this behavior or only some? If only some, please list. Are you using a Soundbar/external speaker or the built-in TV speakers?

If you have other Roku devices in your home, do they have similar issues with DIRECTV STREAM? If they do and/or you only have one Roku in the home, run an upload and download speed test. Post the results here.

It is happening on my Directv Stream box as well tonight.  Could be a system issue.

I’m new to DIRECTV Stream and just moved from U-Verse. I have a box and it’s directly connected via Ethernet. My sound bar never gave me issues with U-Verse, but it is with DTV Stream. I disconnected the sound bar and it’s no longer doing it with the tv sound. Why would the sound bar make this happen? Without the sound bar, the sound on the tv (Edited per community guidelines).

Thoughts?

Thank you,

KC
