The channel disappeared from our guide when we woke up on March 31st. We originally signed up for service in Alaska and have had it for so many years our guide does not list channel numbers. The CBS channel that is missing was from Hannibal/Quincy, we are in north east Missouri

I have tried all that and when I checked it said there were no channel disputes with our area at this time. We don't know why the channel just suddenly disappeared.

Your CBS is KHQA --channel 7. Have you contacted them?

Same thing is happening with my local CBS station in Minnesota. Been in touch with tech support twice with no resolution or answer as to why it went missing. My local station told me it’s a DIRECTV issue.
I can no longer receive ABC, CBS or NBC on the DirecTV Streaming service! The service representative said it was an upgrade to the service in our location, we know people both 30 miles north of us and 70 miles south of us have some of the national stations. Their response to me is that I could just look around and see if I could stream the stations from broadcasts the local stations might send out.. I have no idea what issues are going on with DirecTV stream in my county, I might start looking for totally different service.
First have you verified what channels you may receive now using the look-up tool located here I know they were some remapping of local stations based on new DMA definitions that has caused a lot of subscribers to receive different locals then they originally were receiving. Is this your case?

Apparently there was some juggling of geographic station assignments in Eastern MO. Quite a few people have either lost stations or been assigned the incorrect station. My recommendation to do you would be:
1) Find out what stations you should have based upon where you are. Find your DMA and your stations for your location.
2) Call DIRECTV back armed with the information that (a) you know they've been playing around with station assignments and (b) you're supposed to get x, y and z and you want x, y and z. Stay on the phone until you have x, y and z, or they give you a ticket number to resolve your issue.

Do you know how to find what DMA territory I'm listed under? I have used numerous search terms but only find general information about how many DMAs there are in the US not any specifics about what my area is or the stations that should be received here.

Do you know how to find what DMA territory I'm listed under? I have used numerous search terms but only find general information about how many DMAs there are in the US not any specifics about what my area is or the stations that should be received here.
