Choice package
I currently have the entertainment package, but wanted to upgrade to choice, but then I lose one of my must-have channels, which is channel 565 Hallmark movies and mysteries. Is it true choice removes a channel when you increase the programming and price? I ask because I’ve been on hold for about one hour and hung up.

Hallmark Movies and Mystery is in the Entertainment pack, and also the Movies Extra package. It’s not on the ultimate or choice.

Yes, this is true when you upgrade to Choice you lose the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel. But you can add the Movies Extra Pack for $5.00 a month and you have all the Hallmark Channels that Directv offers. Hope this helps.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is a unique option. Used to be only available in the Movies Extra Pack (formally called HD Extra Pack)
A few years ago it was added to Select, Entertainment, Preferred Xtra, and Premier for DirecTV satellite while still being in the pack. This carried over to the equivalent DIRECTV STREAM options.
If you upgrade to Choice, add the Movies Extra Pack and you have channels 563 - 573. That would keep HM&M and includes Hallmark Drama which was a more recent addition.
