Contract info
I have only had direct tv for 2 months and now the reason I chose Direct TV is null. If I cancel my contract now will I be liable to pay the 2 yr contract?

Channels are subject to change per the Terms of Service. All TV providers have a similar clause.
They cannot guarantee any channel will always be there as that would be an impossible promise. As such you don't get out of your service agreement.
Hopefully Disney doesn't play hardball for too long. A few days, couple weeks or so is manageable in the long run. And after these negotiations complete, eventually Disney will turn on the next provider when their agreement comes due. It is a vicious cycle and this is just DirecTV's turn fighting the House of Mouse.
