Direct TV stream freezes
I have one Box in the living room which is supposed to run the whole house.
I have done every troubleshooting tip bullshooting tip that is available as well as been on the phone with text support.
Freezing has gotten worse.
None of my other streaming apps have this problem.
I did read a little clause that said during hypeak times streaming could be slower.
But I am still paying full price.
Getting ready to quit.

What's the model number of your "streaming" box?
Are you a DirecTV Satellite or DirecTV Stream customer?

The OP is a streaming customer because they mention that other apps work and that streaming could be slower. OP, please confirm if you are getting buffering, error messages, and when this occurs?

We don't know if the OP is streaming DirecTV Satellite OnDemand content, or if they have DirecTV Stream service.

I have DirecTV streaming.
No satellite.
One Box for the whole house.
Box number C71KW - 400.
I do not get buffering messages.
I do get a message saying that it's taking longer than normal to Load programming when I 1st turn it on.
It freezes during programming frequently frequently within one program, Every 2 to 3 minutes.
This does not happen in the living room is the living room with the Box.
It happens in my bedroom which is the next room over.

Let me understand ....
You said you have "one box", the C71K DirecTV Stream box in the Living Room, and that's working fine. How is that box connected to the bedroom TV? How exactly are you viewing DirecTV Stream on the bedroom TV?

I understand what Lisa Winslow is going through. I have the same frustrations. There is constant buffering when watching DirectStream. Buffering takes place on both of the smart Samsung TVs I have the app installed on. It does not happen when watching AppleTv. Is the app or is it the internet service? I can’t seem to find a solution, but considering switching back to Comcast.

I think the 1 box is wireless connection from bedroom.
I believe it is high peak times this is happening.

zipbop12 - there are many posts in the forum about the problems with the samsung app. You need to use a streaming box.
