All users have devices that support channel numbers in the guide. Not everyone has devices that allow direct access to them from the remote.
@doo4usc44 - The DirecTV "news/info" site is DirecTV Insider (here). It is an assortment of info on content (mostly what's on or coming to DirecTV), with a tab for "DirecTV News". Perhaps that will have what you want.

If you have channel numbers. Not everyone has a device supported channel number system.
For DirecTV Satellite, call 1-800-531-5000.
For DirecTV Stream, call 1-888-429-4023.
