Error 30002-018

I can’t watch my channel.  “Please try watching this content on another device, as it can’t be streamed to this one”.  I’ve only had this service for 2 weeks.  Now my favorite channel isn’t working.

 

Anyone know what to do to fix this?

I received this error code as well. Seems like maybe we need to cancel and go with another platform. I got this error on a local channel. It’s definitely time for me to make a change.

Is your credit card billing zip code on file with Dtv Stream correct? Which device are you using?

Yeah, just had to switch over to antenna here. You'd think the cable companies would have a field day with this type of licensing restriction on streaming services. This is worse than when satellite would go out in a storm. Jeez.

Lots of movies, particularly "holiday" movies, have this restriction. It's been reported on TCM, and on both CBS and NBC locals.  Nothing directv can do about it.

Why does DIRECTV schedule restricted content, play it for a few minutes, then tell you the owner of the content won’t let you watch it?  If that’s the case, don’t schedule it in the first place.  Then I won’t schedule and waste my time, trying to watch it and being disappointed.

They do not schedule it and play it for a few minutes. The broadcaster controls the feed and the delivery. DirecTV Stream only plays what they receive. DirecTV Stream has no reason to restrict the feed.
