Error message "There's a problem with the channel etc..."

I have had difficulty for the 2 years that I've lived here with my TV's and error messages. I have 2 TVs and a desktop. One of the TVs had a black box replaced after multiple complaints and error message saying "No Internet Connection

Please run network diagnostics to test your connection, or check your network settings. Run Network Diagnostics

Go to Settings Go to Apps". I was told to unplug the black box and plug to the TV. Wait approx 10" and try to turn it on . Sometimes that worked and sometimes it didn't. Now, for the past several months and a couple of times a day recently, the TV show just stops with the error message, "There's a problem with this channel. Whoops, looks like the video feed for this channel isn't working. Please choose something else to watch while they try to get it going again."

Today I called Support and he said "they have had many complaints of this and there's a new update that will take care of it". HOWEVER, it's not available yet and they don't know when it will be". WHAT?!?  I pay $117.00/mo for 2 TVs which in and of itself is outrageous (my neighbor pays less than $100 for 5 TVs) and to constantly, almost daily, have to restart the TV. Absolutely, NOT worth $117. It's very annoying! I'm new (2 years) to ATT/Direct TV and can only say in 40+ years, I have NEVER had so many difficulties with the TVs.

Have you tried restarting your internet modem/router when you have issues?

Yes, several times.

When the problem is on one of the TVs, I can go to the other TV in another room and it works beautifully and I continue watching the program.

And this is with the Dtv Stream box and not a tv or device app?

Yes on both TVs. I actually had the one in the bedroom replaced by Directv.

You mention a service agreement in your other post. Do you actually have DirecTV (satellite) instead of DIRECTV STREAM. I ask as the streaming-only service has no service agreement.
