HBO Max/Included in Base package

Was looking thru my account at special offers, then I clicked on the premium networks tab and it says HBO Max is "included in base package" with no option to add it. I have the Ultimate package. I thought HBO Max was only included in the premier package. Tried using the HBO max app. Didn't work. Also--HBO channels are not listed in my guide. Anyone else without the Premier package seeing this? I'm not a new customers. Been subscribed for almost a year now.

Mine says that it is included also, but it was free with AT&T 1GB Fiber Internet, but shows up as included on my Internet and DirecTV Stream account. I do have the HBO channels included in my guide.

I have the ultimate package and right now I have HBO Max as a free trial when I went to look at it just now it says that I will have to resubscribe to it when my free trial is over and pay whatever the fee is for it.  Last I knew it was $14.99 or if you wanted it included you could get the Premiere package but you already know that.  So then including it might be something new to draw in new customers or maybe they will just include it as we all know we all pay enough money for it to be included and most people do not want to pay the extra cost of getting it.

Customer service just got back to me on twitter----it showing up as "included in base package" is a glitch.

And no, @Tiger593 they are not just including it for me---obviously--or the channels would be in the guide and I could use the app. I said in my OP that I couldn't view HBO or the HBO max app.

Got it!  I was wondering if that might be the case after I went and looked a few mins ago and it was not showing up on my end that it was included with the base package.  But it would have been nice if they would include it for free! LOL
