I cannot watch anything on my TV. A red light blinks continuously on the control box. A blue light stays on.

I cannot watch anything on my TV. When I pressed the on button on the remote, a red light started blinking on the control box. A blue light stays on. Two blue lights on the front of the remote stay on. How can I fix this? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

OK. You don't have DirecTV Satellite. You have DirecTV Stream. I will move your post to the correct forum.

What "control box" has the blinking lights?

Is this an LG issue, or a DirecTV Stream issue?

The ATT TV / Direct TV control box has the red blinking light and the blue constant light.

The LG TV seems to be OK. I can use the LG remote to get to the internet and sign on to Netflix or Amazon Prime and watch a movie.

Thanks again for getting back to me.

Hello Ludwick, Thanks for responding.

I used the link that you suggested and it returned the message:

"we don’t see your DIRECTV STREAM Device online."

Maybe that is related to the flashing red light that is on the control box along with the continuous blue light.

I am on HDMI 1 just as I am on my second TV in another room. The ATT TV Direct TV is working normally on the second TV. I don't have Roku on the second TV.

I think their site is glitching right now b/c i got that don't see my device error as well. Is your Directv stream box hooked up via ethernet to your cable modem/router or are you using wifi? If u are using wifi try running an ethernet cable to it. I think the red light on the dtv stream box means an internet error.

If that doesn't work use the red button on the side of the box and do a reset. Hold it down for like 20 seconds.

Yes, I verified an internet error. I had to sign on again after the internet was restored. Now I have a little blue circle that is spinning in the middle of the TV screen. It has been spinning for several minutes. I turned off the TV and Direct TV, and then turned them on. The little blue circle is still spinning again.

No issues here. App and channels loading fine. May be a localized/regional issue.

I know I've asked you this before but are you using wifi or ethernet? If wifi try and ethernet cable----if that doesn't fix the issue do a red button reset.  Or maybe you are still having internet issues. Contact your ISP and find out.

I am using wifi. I started to run an ethernet cable, but the wifi and the internet are working.

Then I did a re-install of ATT TV Direct Stream. That took forever because of all the Google setup that they asked me to do.

Then I did a re-install of Roku. Roku took forever because I did not understand the online instructions.

During final testing of Direct and Roku I thought that they had failed again but it turned that I just wore out the batteries. With fresh batteries in both remotes, I tried for a half hour to find any glitches, but everything works now.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Red light continues to blink.  I have pushed the red button on side of unit.  Light goes off and then comes back on.

What streaming device are you using?

When did the problem start?

Did this streaming device ever work properly?

If it's the Dtv Stream box --red light means poor signal strength or no internet connection. If you are using wifi--try hooking up an ethernet cable.
