Is there a cbs, nbc contract dispute Oct 4, 2024

Oct. 3,  2024:  After 3 yrs of no problems, I changed user name now I am getting this message on some dvr recordings, specifically CBS and NBC,  "The owner of this content has not made it available to stream in this area."  The message appears on my laptop and tv.  My billing is California.  Is there a contract dispute going on?

To check for carriage agreement disputes/negotiations: www.directvpromise.com 

However, most likely it is a location issue as it says. Local channels are very strict about where their content may be viewed. Depends how your devices determine location to verify if you are in the same market as your account is authorized for.

If both your TV and laptop are connecting to the same internet connection, you could try resetting your Gateway and see if that will sync it back up.
