Local CBS station
I canceled DirecTV satellite service because of the cost and the lack of the local CBS station. I’m doing a trial of DirecTV Stream so I can watch the Cardinals games and just discovered that the CBS station is still not available. What options do I have for watching CBS programs?

Regular antenna to get the free over-the-air broadcast.
Check to see if DirecTV (satellite) currently has locals you want: https://www.directv.com/satellite/channel-lineup/
If the local is currently unavailable because of channel negotiations, you can check status here: https://www.directv.com/tvpromise/
Check to see what the local might have available for streaming. Otherwise, you will need to find a provider that currently that has the channel.

Many local stations are starting to put out their own apps and offering free live streaming. Check to see if your local CBS station has an app.

Can anyone give an update on whether KOLR in Springfield, MO is still blacked out on DirecTV stream? I changed streaming service last summer due to local channels being blacked out but have switch again to get Bally Sports Midwest.

Since this is a follow-up to what you asked last year the threads have been merged.

KOLR is a Mission Broadcasting station so it still may not be available. Your local CBS station would be available on Paramount+ (for a cost).
