Yes. There is a setting you have to change to set your home location to the new location. The issue is you can only change your home location 4 times a year.

Why in the world would you want to stream Direct TV just turn on your Direct TV and oh i forgot Direct TV doesn't provide local programming they have been in dispute with ABC now CBS for over two years. And who suffers the customer. Do we get a break on billing no just a weak apology and no service!

Not everyone is impacted by the dispute. Besides, those impacted have been offered a discount. Check to see if you can receive a discount here

This thread has noting to do with the Nexstar negotiations.
DirecTV does provide locals, not every channel is owned by Nexstar.
Instead of suffering for channels that are free over the regular airways, perhaps bring perspective back to a grounded reality.
