Don't cancel until after your service agreement ends.
DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM are separate providers. There is no migration/waiver of ECF going from one to the other. You can even have both at the same time if you really want to.
Sorry, you were told wrong. Other than AT&T still remaining majority ownership (70%) those two services have nothing to do with each other. There is no ECF waiver.

@Billydimp, we understand how important it is to have all the right answers. Early Termination Fees apply when we migrate from DIRECTV Satellite to DIRECTV STREAM.

If you were told you could migrate without a fee---why don't you know how to do it?? lol Sems like both topics should have been had in the same conversation with Dtv.
