Missing local KMBC (ABC) Kansas City
Wanted to watch the local news this evening on KMBC the ABC affiliate in Kansas City. Nothing local. Looks like it's a national ABC news feed and earlier is was GMA3. I have all my other local channels. Just KMBC is messed up. Can't find anything via a google search about it. The Directv Stream channel lineup still shows it. Anyone else in KC missing this? I'm sure it was there yesterday.

Same thing here, but didn't notice it until I went to watch the 5am local news this AM. I think they might actually be broadcasting the ABC News Live channel feed, but I'm not sure. And for the record, in my office here I have 1 TV hooked up to a Roku & 1 hooked up to an Amazon Fire stick. DirecTV Stream on both, & it's the same on both TV's. And I did flip one of the TV's to over-the-air broadcast via my antenna, & it's the normal Channel 9/KMBC programming. So this is a DirecTV Stream issue for sure.

It is definitely a Directv problem. I did call them last night to complain. The guy I talked to did some looking and said it was a known problem. I didn't understand all what he was saying but that is wasn't just limited to KMBC. It was expected to be resolved in 48 hours. Given that it's the weekend I wouldn't hold my breath. Please call in an complain.

The number I called was 800-531-5000 for tech support.
Go to https://www.directv.com/support/stream/ and scroll to the bottom to "contact us". There are several options.

I have the exact same issue and called in but no one knew of the existing problem. They did say however they would email or call me once the issue was fixed. Still waiting. I posted on my nextdoor app and learned about this forum so I am hearing possibly fixed by tomorrow. Patiently waiting kind of.

KMBC hasn't been working for us since Friday either. Called Direct TV last night and they simply replied by sending me a link that provided no info at all.

Called Directv again. It's a known issue, they're working on it, blah blah blah. All platitudes. No known time of fix. It used to work then something happened on the 1st. Probably some software update that broke it. Keep calling and bugging them. Tomorrow I'm going to twitter and facebook.

I had long text with victor. He did verify that i don’t have access to local abc shows. He forwarded the problem to his team and they are suppose to email me when connection is restored.

Im so sick of this they could care less they say here 15 credit for the trouble iv been on the phone with them this is why i left them the first time i had them i should've went pass them
