Multiple Peacock APP Icons on display
After downloading the Peacock app I have two icons in my app display (streaming box). Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no change. It's

annoying and tech support seems clueless. Any ideas?

Well then just live with it. DirecTV Stream probably want even look at it. They have bigger fish to fry then this minor issue.
For DirecTV Satellite, call 1-800-531-5000.
For DirecTV Stream, call 1-888-429-4023.

This is what I got from Directv stream tech team " I would like you to be informed that Peacock app no longer works on DIRECTV STREAM box due to some security reasons."
But it works fine for me...

Oh that's interesting! Seems to be fine for me on other devices. I wonder what the security issue is?

No clue, but before I was notified of this I was instructed to check for any device updates (was none) as well as deleted and reinstall Peacock (same issue appeared). Then they told me just what I told you....

Sounds more like a way out of the issue. Security issue but they still allow the app to be downloaded. They don't know.

There's no accepted solution, other than to live with the duplicate Peacock App.

I saw this issue before. Can't remember if it was on this forum or reddit. Gonna search both now....
Edit----Yep several threads on this forum and one on Reddit with the same issue. No resolution.
