NewsMax channel DIRECTV Stream

Please add NewsMax channel to all DIRECTV STREAM packages.

I personally would be happier if DIRECTV STREAM Now devoted their apparently limited resources to more locals, some missing mainline networks, and filling out some missing third-party app support - or just adding feature improvements to the service - than adding more "opinion outlets".  In this particular case, there really isn't any need to add it - the NewsMax channel is streamed for free on the web, plus there are apps for iOS and Android, and for Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV.

@Jrandomuser Thanks for your personal comment.  What local channels are you missing?  In my area, all the main local stations are included in my AT&T Now package.   If AT&T has limited resources, maybe we could exchange some of the non-local news stations for more trustworthy sources.  My family and friends are just looking for more honest and factual news outlets instead of the "party biased" narrated ones like CNN & most locals.  The convenience of having the channels you actually watch in one app is what AT&T Now is all about.  NewsMax is already on many providers lineups including AT&T owned DirecTV.

I'm not "far right" and don't support any party.  I believe in each political figure standing on their own two feet.  They should be looked at based on their own merit and certainly not guarded, propped up, or supported by any media outlet.  CNN's slogan "Facts First" is certainly not a good representation of their channel.  News media should not be bias to one side or the other, but merely report factual news.  It's funny how there are some in this country that believe they need force a certain agenda on others.  Usually their mind is made up on who they are talking to and that they know better than the other person.  Most news media today seem to play a heavily destructive role in our country.  It is hard to find accurate news that actually does much if any good.  For me, I try and watch many sources (including all sides of the isle).  This tends to lead me to a more centered understanding.  lydian, you have made it clear that you are opposed to my post suggesting the additional channel, but I feel more information is better.  With all do respect, I will continue to request the NewsMax channel.

When is Newsmax going to be added to AT&T TV?  Already on Directv and Uverse, etc.

Funny how some supposedly liberals try to control what you watch or not. Certainly adding a new channel to counter balance the extreme left controlled media is a good thing. If you don' t want to watch just don't , but don't try to control what source of information others like. I don't care for CNN but I don't give a rat's (Edited per community guidelines) if they want to put it on thier line up,

Removed by by AT&T.  I guess it did not fit into their narrative.

I would also like to see Newsmax added to the line up.  It never hurts to have more choices.

@txcajun66 That isn't necessarily true.  Regardless, while AT&T TV doesn't currently carry it, NewsMax is available for free (via their own app) on every platform that AT&T TV runs on, including the AT&T streaming device.  So you can easily get it wherever you watch AT&T TV.

@akaLoneStar As I just said, you can easily get NewsMax on the platforms.  Also, if you want extreme rump fawning, AT&T TV does carry OAN.

I don’t know the reason why AT&T TV won’t out on Newsmaxx... Does anybody know why?

It appears that AT&T TV does not have NEWSMAXX. Why would that be?  DirecTV has it, so why doesn’t AT&TV have it too? I moved to a building that cannot allow the satellite dishes that DirecTV uses so I switched to AT&T TV.  Both are under the auspices of AT&T TV.

There’s still licensing restrictions just because one att service has it doesn’t mean the other does

I love the fact that you use a racially offensive term to express your frustration about Newsmax access. I would expect nothing less.

@Collislucy   For your enlightenment:

What does it mean to get Jipped?

"Gypsy" is commonly used to describe the Romani people. But the term carries many negative connotations, and its derivative carries even more: when somebody is "gypped," they are, according to Merriam-Webster, "defrauded, swindled, cheated."   Dec 30, 2013

@lydian   Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Yes please add news max. Don't listen to Lydian. I'm going to hack them anyways so we have one less (Edited per community guidelines) nutcase online :-)

@jrandomuser is extreme rump fawning himself while watching CNN, lol.  How about every channel you suggest we watch elsewhere, we move one of the (Edited per community guidelines) based channels like CNN off of AT&T as well?
