NFL app on Directv stream box

That's b/c you are using Directv as authentication---there isn't an option for Directv Stream for authentication b/c NFL network isn't offered yet. Directv Stream login info doesn't work for Directv Satellite login

Not true I have two accounts a direct stream account for the directv box streaming. Also have directv satellite choice package account credentials that I have used before on the nfl app it worked.  But now for some reason  it doesn’t work but it used to for many months before.   

I have STREAM and Satellite accounts as well @roland456 - as @Ludwick577 says, DIRECTV STREAM is not on the providers' list. I tried with my Satellite account by selecting DIRECTV as a provider and indeed, I get the same message "Your MVPD provider DTV cannot access NFLN on NFL".

Understood I know directv stream is not on the provider list but the satellite one is and it was working before they updated the nfl app.  So now the question is how do we get to work again with directv satellite credentials.  Directv do you have any input on this ? 

If this is an issue after they updated the NFL app then DTV needs to engage w NFL and sort this out/escalate. I tested on the web and it works with my DIRECTV Satellite credentials http://nflnetwork.com/ ... so this points to an issue with the NFL app itself.

My iPhone,iPad and computer work as well with no issues. I’m might have to call Directv technical support and find what’s going on the nfl app on the android Directv stream box.  It’s weird.  

It's also FireTV according to @KuntryDawg87  - so this might not be specific to Osprey only.

Do you guys have the same login userid (email) and password for your stream and satellite accounts? 

I don’t I have two different ones. So I have an update from directv technical support chat from last night.  Here is there findings  

(I've checked a new update here in our resources regarding DIRECTV Satellite Service.It shows that DIRECTV Satellite credentials will not work on Television, regardless of the application associated to it.DIRECTV Satellite App which is now called DIRECTV ON THE GO is innovating and is only viewable on mobile devices and tablet, same with it log in credentials used to other application like NFL, won't work.I believe what happen here is that the NFL App was forced update and since DIRECTV Satellite app also updating, that is why you are unable to access.) So basically they can’t do anything now that both parties are updated.  So now I can’t watch it on my Tv.  

NFL Network isn’t even offered with DIRECTV STREAM, perhaps that is why it is returning this error?

@roland456 do you have DIRECTV STREAM or DIRECTV satellite or Both? With DIRECTV STREAM only, you can’t access NFL, PERIOD. It is not offered with DTV STREAM at all. Only DIRECTV Satellite offers it.
