No connection after ice storm outage

Ok, you've got your power back.  Is your internet working though? What happens when you try use DIRECTV STREAM.

And what device are you using to get the service?

Internet is working 

using a fire stick 

a Samsung TV

It says 'home' is not available 

My laptop will not connect to the Internet either

If your laptop won't connect to your internet, then something is wrong with your home internet gateway/router. Try resetting it.

Based on that DIRECTV STREAM is fine. I suspect that "home" is the name of your router. So either your internet is actually not working, or the router is having problems communicating wirelessly.

Try rebooting the router and give a few minutes. If that doesn't work, then you will need to contact your internet service provider (ISP).
