No direct tv stream on Fire TVs
Back in May I purchased a new Insignia Fire TV with the express intent of getting away from my satellite dish and associated cabling. While not the smoothest transition it did work fine so I purchased a second Fire TV for another room. Just before Christmas the first tv stopped receiving Direct TV Stream. I did the associated updates and even called tech support. The best they could offer was a genie box. Genie box never worked, even after resetting passwords. But I still had one TV that was receiving the stream - until 2 nights ago. Now neither TV will receive the stream. (Edited per community guidelines)? Is this a hardware/software issue with the Fire TVs, or is it on Direct TV Stream? I might buy it if it were a single tv but both - within a couple weeks of the other?
Giving SERIOUS consideration to cancelling this service since I can't get any answers to why two tvs suddenly fail to receive Direct TV Stream. BTW, I can receive Peacock and Netflix with no problem at all.

What sort of error message(s) do you see when trying to stream DirecTV?

One common error message is "this channel is not in your line-up" or something to that effect - before I have even selected a channel.

@Juniper, Both tvs are Amazon Fire. They were purchased from Best Buy under their Insignia brand.
