Prime video not launching
Prime video app will not launch. I have checked for system updates, rebooted the system, and force stopped the app. It says "you must sign into your Google account", but I AM signed into my Google account. I even removed my Google account and added it back to the system, but I am not having any luck. Please help!

Hi, @jbsvetlik. We're sorry for the troubles you experienced in launching your Amazon Prime Video App and on your Google Assistant. Visit https://www.directv.com/support/article/000091378 for details in alternatively signing you in back to Google. Afterward, we encourage you to uninstall and reinstall the Amazon Prime Video App. Let us know how it works. Thanks for choosing DIRECTV. John, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Are you still having issues? We cannot get prime video to launch either, although it worked in the past. We've tried all the stuff you have. Do you have the option to uninstall? We do not.

As it turned out, I found out the app needed to be updated. As soon as I finished installing the updates, it worked fine. (I don't have the option to uninstall, either.)
Go to Settings>Apps>See all apps>Prime Video>Install updates

Still seems to be an issue loading both Prime Video and Amazon Music Prime. I get the Prime logo (horizontal arrow) then nothing. Then after a long while the DIRECTV receiver (and my HDMI TV and sound system) shuts off. After several tries it eventually works. Its always a joy to see the user selection menu finally show up.

Try uninstalling updates then disabling the Prime video app in the settings--system --apps area. Then update and re-enable it.
