Setting Prime Video to Favorites

I have tried adding Prime Video, HBO Max and Netflix to my Favorites List, but have been unsuccessful.  Help, is this possible??

Hello @ceejay3786, thanks for bringing that to our attention.

With DIRECTV STREAM service you can save your favorite channels using the next steps.

1-Go to the Home screen.
2-Select Guide and scroll through the channel listings.
3-Select the Heart next to the channels you want to favorite. The heart will fill in when you save it as a favorite.

We do not have the feature for Apps such HBO Max, Netflix.

Let us know how it goes.

Why are these not available for favorites?  That would be so helpful

They are on the list of all but just not selectable as a favorite. I don’t care who or what owns them just that the system would work better if it was available

@DIRECTVhelp Do you bother reading what you yourself post?  Apparently not - perhaps that skill isn't required for your job.  The OP explicitly asked about adding  [Prime Video], HBOMax, and Netflix as favorites - you "explained" (well, posted a canned answer based on you seeing the word "favorites") how to add favorites, which says in it that it doesn't work for "Apps such HBO Max, Netflix" (OK, maybe not canned, since that isn't exactly English).  Why do you bother?

@Samp - it is likely because those aren't really channels but are just shortcuts for launching the associated apps.  That said, I don't see why it should be that difficult for them to add those "pseudo-channels" to their favorites mechanism, and perhaps they will at some point.

@Jrandomuser

Unless there was a new post that got removed, you are scolding Julian D back in 2021. But the point does seem to remain rather fair today still, unfortunately.

@Juniper - no, you are correct. I had seen a similar thing from “help” in another thread in the last few days, and didn’t notice in this one that the new post from Samp was in an old thread.  The issue of the post and the quality of “help” are unchanged, but my complaint to that particular rep isn’t exactly timely.

Completely understand. We've dealt with too many "helpful" responses from some of them.
