Sportsnet LA not recording
So here’s the deal. I’m a long time Los Angeles Dodgers baseball fan living in Las Vegas Nevada. The only way to view the LA games is with a regional sports network (RSN) add on.
I like to time shift the games though, if it starts at 7pm, I’ll begin watching at 8pm in order to skip commercial breaks. Back in the day I could just highlight the program I want to record in the guide and watch the game at my convenience. Now however Direct TV stream offers a number of ways to watch the games and indeed chooses the game feed to record whether you want it or not. The “ways to watch” drop down is useless for recording the games.
I wish to record all games on Spectrum sports net LA but any west coast game defaults to something else. So I’m having to watch LA Dodgers V. Az Diamondbacks on Bally TV. To make matters worse it’s recording the wrong Bally’s channel that is playing anything but Dodgers and Dbacks.
Can anyone offer a solution to this?

Hi there. The recording feature improves the TV experience, so we want you to enjoy it to its fullest. I'm here to help you with your LA Dodgers and any recording issue. There is a feature called auto-recording which I suggest you reset by pressing the LIST button or selecting My Library to go into the list of your recorded shows, then select the game you want to stop recording, and at the top of the list, there should be a little box where you can select "stop recording series." Let us know on which device you are getting this issue for detailed assistance. Thank you for bringing this up to DIRECTV. Jhon, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Thanks Jhon for the info. After following your instructions, which I have done before BTW, the next local market game is scheduled to record. Tomorrow the Dodgers play the San Francisco Giants and the SF NBC station will be recorded. Looking at the recording options I see three boxes, two of them indicate team logos. Seems intuitive enough; Dodgers logo should record the Dodgers broadcast but alas Direct TV stream will only record the local team broadcast in my RSN, as was my experience last baseball season. When I record Dodger games DTS will record only the "Home" broadcasts on all the markets included in my RSN. I want only the Spectrum Sportsnet LA broadcasts to be recorded for both home and away games. I made you're recommended adjustment using Mac OS 12.6.4 and Chrome browser Version 111.0.5563.146. Same setting appears on the Iphone app, Iphone 12 IOS 16.3.1

If you are in Choice or higher you get the RSNs for where you live. Should not need the Sports Pack add-on, unless you are in Entertainment.
From a general search does appear that you are in the right Region. So it should only be unavailalbe if a specific local for that area has rights to the game.
Allthough, the MLB has special blackouts for weekend games giving Fox and ESPN exclusive rights. And then there was an issue with some games sold off to Apple TV. This makes MLB the most confusing when it comes to where you may watch a game.
