Stop Streaming ?
Since I have data limits and I always go to bed and watch TV and fall asleep, is there a way to set something to STOP STREAMING? I mostly watch recorded programs but when they end it reverts back to Live TV. What can I set to ensure the streaming stops at some point in time? Or maybe it does and I don't know it? Help.

What device are you using? Some devices (like a Roku) have a setting to stop watching at a limit and provides a message like "Still Watching?". If no response it stops streaming. Check the settings for your device.

I'm using different devices. Roku, Apple TV, Samsung TV, etc. I seriously need a way to ensure it stops streaming while I'm asleep. I mentioned in another post (which wasn't answered) that the Xfinity Stream app asks me YES/NO to delete recording. If I'm asleep, it just sits there until morning. With Directv Stream it reverts back to programming (which is good and bad).

Well this is not Xfinity Stream so unless the device has someway to terminate the stream then your out of luck.

Why not just disconnect your router from the internet when you're sleeping? Then nothing can stream.

I not sure what you mean. I need the router ON to watch DTV Stream. If I turn it OFF, I have go awake, go into another room to turn off the router, then go back to bed, would need the capability to watch TV again to fall asleep, etc. Also, I can't turn off the router because I have security cameras. But I appreciate the feedback.
There must be an easier way to accomplish this. I cannot find anything within DTV Stream software or the Roku software.

What's ironic is that, concurrent with your posts, there's someone else who wants the "are you still there" prompts to go away so they will stop interrupting the streaming.

It shows that everyone wants something a little bit different. And sometimes diametrically opposed.

Oh, and that's fine. But wouldn't it be nice if DTV Stream simply had in their SETTINGS a "sleep timer" to turn streaming off after a period of time (1 hour, 2 hours, etc). I need to have the TV on to "get to sleep", but need it to not stream all night long. A lot of people are the same.

Well upon second thought, my solution of a sleep time would solve the other guys problem also. It wouldn't have to keep asking ... LOL.
