tv turns on but no direct tv
My husband was cleaning off the tv screen and it apparently turned off while he was doing that - it worked fine before. Our TV will turn on but there is no tv service. The remote says it's paired but the tv is not responding. I have tried unplugging the tv and resetting the remote. The way our tv is on the wall, we are unable to take it off without help (it's an 80" tv) and the small box I can see on the back is not a direct tv box that I can reset. Can you tell me how to go about resetting it, please?

@chasf00 it happens a lot on here, someone will ask for help, help is given and no updates from the op. I refer to them as "drive by postings" but constantly wonder if the issue was fixed or not

The problem could be as simple as replacing the batteries in your remote.

Yah, the suspense is killing me. Did you just need to change source inputs? Anyone taking bets? lol
