worst service ever! so disappointed

I have been a DirecTV Stream subscriber for about one and a half years.  I stream on multiple TVs using Firesticks and one tv with the little box provided by ATT when I signed up.  I've had nothing but trouble with the app and watching tv since the beginning.  On all TVs, I often receive a message stating something along the lines of "Looks like we are having trouble loading this content, please try again later."  The message appears when I open the DirecTV Stream app. I have called for help several times and the rep always blames it on my spectrum. Spectrum has replaced my modem three times. This doesn't happen when I watch Netflix so it is not an internet problem. I cannot cancel my service until Oct 17, so if the company doesn't want to properly fix this issue, I will post happily post my negative experience everyday. Too bad it has come to this. So disappointed in this company.

I recall you made another post about this issue, correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, this is most certainly a WiFi connectivity issue since all FireSticks and the DIRECTV STREAM box are affected. Some possible solutions are moving the router closer or in the middle of the location of all streaming devices, adding access points in areas where there are TVs to better optimize the connection, and in the meantime you can test the internet upload and download speeds of your connection. If you have issues streaming other Live content on these devices, then this gears toward your WiFi connection even more. Do notice though that when you try to test for issues on other streaming apps, make sure the content is 'live' rather than 'on-demand'

Does't DTVS come  with a no contract stipulation. Why does one have to wait until Oct. to cancel?

Earlier subscription were not all no contact subscription like now. Apparently the OP has a contractual contract to fulfill.

Unfortunately, there is a contract. My router is right next to the streaming box provided by ATT direct tv.  I have no issues with streaming nexflix so why do I have issues with Directv only?

It's DirecTV Stream, not DirecTV. They are 2 different services.

Try using ethernet (hard wire) connection.
