0066: No account returned from UPDA.

I am a subscriber to Direct TV and also use my ROKU device to view HISTORY Channel. This past week I've been receiving this message: [0066: No account returned from UPDA. ] when I wanted to watch a show on the History channel. I have a sign-in password and up until now I had no issues in watching certain shows broadcast on History. What's going on??

Let's see if we can get you back to watching your favorite shows, @davers-222.

The error that you are receiving is an authentication error.

Have you tried resetting your password for your DTV account?

We also suggest that you refresh your DTV receiver, because this will resend all authorizations to your account.

Let us know if this helps.

@ATTHelp Thanks, but my Direct TV is fine it's my Roku dealing with the History channel. I might try changing my pass word on that channel and see what happens. Many of the shows on History are broadcast too late at night, and I found that I could watch them on my Roku Device on demand.

That's a good idea! Since you're sure that your DirecTV account isn't the problem, you may want to reach out to Roku's support team to see what they recommend.

Thanks for reaching out!

Thanks again. I'll try and see if restating my password on the History channel will fix this issue.

Hey @davers-222,

Can you access the History channel when using different device? Have you tried to factory reset your Roku?

Here is an accepted solution that has helped others, check this link out: Error 0066 accepted solution.

Let us know how it goes.
