3D Television compatability

I have a Mitsubishi 73" C-9 television.  It is 3D ready. My question is on your DirectTV website it is not on the site as a TV for DirectTV 3D ready.

I have not purchased glasses, or 3D emitter yet and am wondering if 3D will work with my TV.  I am excited about the future 3D programming on DirectTV and starting with the world cup coming up.  If I purchase the glasses and other 3D products will I be able to watch 3D on DirectTV

When I go to channel 106 it states, "this program cannot be viewed because this TV is not 3D capable".  Under more info it states, "and the correct 3D television and glasses.

Gosh I hope that my TV will be capable of receiving 3D programming from DirectTV.  I don't want to buy another TV when this Mitsubishi is 3D capable.

Please help me with this question.  My HD picture is extremely good, excellent, and that is why I love DirectTV
