Activation Loop possible fix

I just spoke to tech support about the endless activation loop while attempting to bring up DirectTV2PC.  The program files and subfolderswere located in C:\ProgramFiles\DirecTV\DirecTV.  The tech asked me to move all of them up one level so that they are now in C:\Program Files\DirecTV.  This allowed me to start up the program and access my playlist.  However, and this is a big 'however',  I was not actually able to get anything in my playlist to play.  I could see everything that was on the playlist, and operate the menu selection, but could not get the recordings to play.  

 

Maybe that will help someone out enough so that they can get the rest of the problem corrected.
