Active APP content
I have DirecTV and prefer to watch TV in my office using APPS and streaming on my Firestick. Until recently, for instance ID go, would just tell me to use the following and activate the programming.
https://idgo.com/activate. I could do it from my phone or my computer. It then required me to pick a provider which I did as DIRECTV. Now I can’t seem to log into my DIRECTV account (has been taken over by my ATT) or I get a 404 error. The activation doesn’t work.
I’ve gotten absolutely nothing but the runaround from DIRECTV and AT&T. I’ve been locked out of my DIRECTV account for multiple login attempts. Then AT&T/DIRECTV told me that I could only watch streaming content on my computer. So what’s the scoop?

Thank you so much for posting. We can point you in the right direction to get this solved.
With any account lock-out, the first step is to reset your password. After that, wait for 1 hour and then try logging into the IDGo app. It should redirect you to log-in to AT&T account management portal, so that the account can be verified. After that, you should be able to stream your channel again.

its a known bug, but att/directv wont admit to it
it usually occurs when the account switches from the directv site to the att site

I am trying to add content to the apps that I have on my fire stick which is connected to my TV. I am a DIRECTV customer.
This is a real example.
I clicked on IDgo. Told me I needed to activate it on my device. I have done this recently and it was fine. The prompt appeared on my TV, and I previously activated from either my computer or my iPhone. Most recently it no longer seems to work.
https://idgo.com/activate and it displays a capitalized code I need to enter.
But when I try to do it on my computer, I get a message 404 the resource not available.
I tried contacting AT&T multiple times and logging in. I can no longer log into my DIRECTV.com because it says I have been locked out. No amount of chat or supervisors or resetting passwords can get me past that point.
I was able to log into my AT&T account, scroll down to DIRECTV, click on “streaming“ and that took me again to the page where it says I’ve been locked out.
One of the AT&T rep said well “activate” it doesn’t work except on your computer and not your fire stick.
But that too was incorrect and I couldn’t get it to work on the computer.
I am faced with multiple issues. The /activate does not work on any device, I am locked out of my DIRECTV account, and going to AT&T to try to get DIRECTV to stream doesn’t work.
I just want content on my fire stick. One of my homes has DIRECTV, but I prefer to watch TV using apps at my office.
/activate says it will work with any authorized cable provider including DIRECTV.

hhhmmm, the 404 from the pc points to a dns/internet error
i went to the page, it comes up fine,
it says
Follow the instructions on your device to get an activation code. Your computer and device must both be connected to the internet to activate.
regardless, there are issues doing this,
oh and being locked out of you account could also cause problems
you need you login id and password to activate and app
