Adding extra time to the end of a scheduled DVR event?

For a fact, when clicking the record button on the program, a pop-up should occur that states that the program may run over its scheduled time frame. You should be able to add a time-extension of anywhere up to 3 hours. 

That pop up only comes up if it is a live event.  To add time to a recording you have to edit it.

Don’t see any of that - I don’t see those options.

If it is a series then in the series manager select series options select stop.
