After each show I watch I need to close out the app and restart

This has been going on for about a year now and wasn't an issue beforehand. I used to watch a show and then when it went pack to the playlist I simply chose the next one.  Forever now everytime I end a show I had to close out and make the open app completely disappear and have to reinitialize and login every single time. It is getting very aggravating and since I watch EVERYTHING i record on DVR through my phone I am actually considering leaving DirecTv if I can't get this resolved.  It is such a dumb issue and I keep waiting for a fix but nothing.

We are here to help, @mom2bat.

 

We recommend that you Uninstall and Reinstall the app to make sure the Directv app is updated. You can also reset the password, because this will resync everything on the backend.

I have done both of these ideas several times throughout the months and nothing changes...any other ideas???
