After renting a movie, can you change the channel or do uou have to leave it on the same channel?
I was curious because my brother rented a movie and my mother wanted to change it since my brother went to bed while it was still playing.

HI @Arcticfox29,
We will be happy to help!
Yes you are able to change the channel.
Movies rentals are available to view for a limited amount of time, ranging from 24 to 72 hours. You will see the title in your Playlist until the viewing period has expired.
The viewing period begins as soon as the movie is purchased, so if you order a 24-hour rental movie at 8:00 PM on Monday and record it on to your DVR, you'll have until 8:00 PM on Tuesday to watch it.
This rule applies to DIRECTV CINEMA™ movies only; it does not to other Pay Per View purchases (sports, events, and adult programming) and regular programming.
