Android App will not refresh the list of recorded shows when I am outside the house
Android DTV App on my phone
Genie DVR is an HR54-500
Inside the house I can see the list of recorded shows and watch a show on the phone.
When I go outside the house that list of recorded shows will not refresh. I can only see the same list I saw when inside the house. I can actually view a show on the list on my hone while I am outside the house, but the list itself will never update/refresh.
* I enabled UPnP on the router.
* I tried configuring port forwarding on the router (for the "network services" ports that DTV says it wants to use).
* I put the DVR in the DMZ on the router (which opens it up to the internet with no firewall protection at all).
The "Manage Equipment" page on the website in my account continues to not load (its been broken for over a month), so I cannot check the status of my equipment in the DTV system.
DTV is promoting their new app for use on phones, Roku and Fire TV Sticks but I'm sure a lot of people won't be happy when they can't get their list of recorded shows while outside the house.
Nothing seems to resolve this issue. Any ideas?

We want to let you know that the new DIRECTV App is a better viewing experience with fewer clicks to get to your favorite shows, pause live TV, and much more.
Some features like:
- Download DVR Recordings and Watch Offline.
- Download On Demand and
- Mobile DVR aren't currently available on the DIRECTV App
The features you value now on the DIRECTV on the Go App will be available in the near future on the DIRECTV App.

Thank you @DIRECTVhelp ... why does this support page say we can view live or recorded shows "at home or on the go" if they do not support it??
