Any Updates? The Directv App Is Not Working.
I have Directv Satellite (not Directv Stream) and I have been using the Directv app for months with NO ISSUES. Now I Only Have 5 Channels. I Was On The Phone With Directv On Sunday For Hours, But No Answer Was Provided.
I also received an email from Directv on 12/22/22 that stated this below...

Thanks for asking me to do something that you know that I can't. Sadly its typical of Directv. Just add me to the long list of people cancelling their service.

It is common for directvhelp to suggest a DM but they have no clue how to start it (or do it incorrectly). I’m glad the app is starting to work for you for “now”. If you have anymore issues please post back and I can try suggesting a few tips.

I have had the same issue for months. I have wasted a lot of time on the phone or chatting with DirecTv only to be told that it is a known issue and that they are working to resolve it. They must get paid by the hour. I have posted on this forum previously with my issue and have never received an invitation to DM DIRECTVhelp..I am starting to take it personally...😁

To send a DM it appears you click on the square box with lines in it at the top of the page and says DM if you hover over it at least with FireFox.

Started having issue of only being able to view 5 channels in Guide last Saturday and it continues. Spoke to DTV last night and was informed that, as mentioned above, "it is a known issue and they are working to resolve it." Issue is only when trying to stream on PC as I can view with TV and remote, but most of time I watch on PC.

I had this issue on Dec. 15 when I got a genie 2 installed, I called it in and it was working two days later. I went online and refreshed my genie 2 roughly 2 weeks ago and the issue started again (only seeing about 30 channels this includes all HBO's and showtime channels, without that it would be around 10). Anyway, I've been calling every three days and being told that "this is an isolated issue and is not wide spread" "there is no mention of this issue anywhere" it's crazy that we are being told different things. I've had several cases "escalated." with no call backs or updates, this is getting very frustrating.
