Ballys sports app not letting me connect with direct tv

Also having the same issue as everyone here. Is there actually a way to fix this problem? I’ve tried signing in on ballys on multiple devises. It has always worked and I can sign into DIRECTV account no problem.

The thing that worked for me was to open a Window in chrome/Android and go to Dtv website. Then login to Dtv account with your Dtv credentials. After you get in successfully - Then don't close the window, but open a new window and go to the Bally sports site (that's on the TV screen instructions) and login the usual way you always do. I don't know why it worked but it did. The only difference from the normal way is having that other window logged into Dtv's site while you're logging in Bally's. Hope it works for you. I'm not gonna be online for several hours today bcuz I am busy. Good luck. Hope this will help. It worked for 1 other person but another person it didn't work for.

Having the same problem with same code 205.4. I know I’m using the correct credentials also because I can log in to directv. I spent a hour on the phone last night but couldn’t get anywhere.

I’m still having the same issue - it just stated a few days ago - same error code as above. Is there a known issue between Bally and DTV?

I'm having the same error when trying to watch Bally Sports App. Error 205.

I am having the same issue with the error code.  I was unable to log in under Directv, however, I could log in using AT&T universe. (Same log in).  I was able to then get to the screen to watch the game, but got a message saying “there is an issue playing this video.  Either you are not entitled to this content or there is an error playing it.  Please contact support at help.Ballysports.com”

I contacted them.  We tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.  Same issues.  They said contact Directv.

Exact same issue yesterday (7/10) and tried again today (7/11). 

Anyone have any luck with Bally app? I still can’t log in. This is beyond frustrating at this point!! Still getting same 205.4 error saying this is not the Id I use for this service.

DirecTV is aware of the issue. They just posted this update ....

DIRECTV is currently experiencing a national outage when attempting to log in into 3rd party apps, our team is working hard to investigate the cause of the error code 205.4 and resolve it, so our customers can enjoy watching their favorite games.
