Blacked out Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Games

I moved to Arizona 27 years ago and purchased DIRECTVMLB ticket . 27 years I’ve been able to watch the Philadelphia Phillies no matter who they played or where they were playing .I either got the Home feed or away  feed . But this year for the first time ever I have not been able to watch any Philadelphia Phillies games . Every game so far this season has been blacked out . They played New York in Philadelphia and I did not get to see any of the games, they played Miami in Florida and I did not get to see any of the games and now they’re playing Colorado which is fairly close to me and I don’t get to see any of the games.  I live in Arizona there’s no reason for these games to be blacked out . Is anyone else that lives out here experiencing these issues? I have contacted DIRECTV eight times in the last two weeks and no one there can figure it out either I am about ready to cancel everything!

Confirmed that the Brewers-Phillies game is again incorrectly blacked out for us.

Wow, great to hear this.  I was just about to start a new thread on this exact topic!  In Colorado (809xx zip code) and all Phillies games blacked out here also.  Will stand by to see if things get corrected for tomorrow.  Thanks to everyone who has been pressing this unacceptable issue!

Thanks for driving this everyone. I’ve been going at it with them in a separate thread for a couple weeks as well. I hope it’s truly been fixed. Sometimes the individual reps mean well but don’t know what exactly they’re saying. Fingers crossed

Hi @mikehrin66 , we appreciate your patience with this.

This issue has been reported as an outage and that's on investigation status right now. Broadcast is now investigating to resolve it as fast as possible.

Let's meet in a Direct message so you can share your email with us to receive updates about the issue. Please check your DIRECTV Message Inbox (It's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Nick,

it would be helpful to everyone who cares about this if you could post updates directly into this forum post.  Thanks.

Nick - thanks for your response but it’s making me nervous all over again. Read the entire thread - this was supposedly already resolved and we should be able to watch the Phillies tonight.

Now you’re coming back and saying it’s an outage that *will be* investigated. It’s not an outage, it’s a technical problem. Please dig a little deeper and try to confirm that DTV has fixed this error.

I’m not going to Direct Messaging because I’ll just need to re-explain everything in this thread, then you’ll tell me you’ll send a re-authorization and I should re-boot my box. That’s not the issue. Please read the threads before responding with standard cut/paste answers.

Nick,

What you're saying is incorrect. There's no "outage." There is no longer "investigating" going on. The problem was finally discovered yesterday, but I was told it was an issue that could not be fixed until today. And I was told that the issue would be fixed in time for the 4 p.m. ET Brewers-Phillies game today, not "in a timely manner."

It's an April miracle: We are getting the Brewers-Phillies game where I am. Everybody else good?

Nice work Mike! Just verified I’m good I’m Denver.

I’d really like someone from Directv to tell us all what exactly the issue was.

Finally!!! After three weeks I am finally able to watch the Philadelphia Phillies play baseball! I don’t know what was causing it and I don’t know why all of a sudden it’s working again I am just keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue!

Good to know. Thanks for all of your efforts. If we were still just calling individually it would not be fixed.
