Bravo channel freezing
My Bravo channel keeps having problems freezing/glitching. My other channels are all fine. I had a DirecTV technician out to my home a few days ago to fix the issue and he made sure everything was working correctly, but Bravo is still glitchy. All other channels are working fine.
Other people I know are also having Bravo channel issues. Why is only Bravo having problems? When will it be fixed?

I’ve been having the same issue on Bravo recordings for the last couple of weeks. Tonight it’s nearly unwatchable.

In general if it is only one channel then it is a problem with the feed from Bravo to DTV, you should contact both.

My household actively records/watches Bravo on our HR54 and we never experience the issues you do. The only reason for this would be 1) A bad HDD if you are seeing recording glitches 2) A bad receiver 3) Signal strength issues.
There could also be wiring problems to the dish.

Same here. I’ve been having issues for over a month. Recordings and now it is showing on live TV as well. It’s definitely mostly bravo but I can’t say that for sure, because I’ve had other recordings mess up too. First they tried to send me a new receiver, then they sent a technician out to check the dash which I got a new one. It’s still happening. So it’s some thing DIRECTV needs to figure out and fix. I keep calling and complaining and I’m asking for a credit because I pay a lot of money every month to have the service and most of my shows are all messed up. I end up going to streaming and watching it the next day. If I’m gonna do that, then I don’t need DIRECTV anymore and I can save myself a lot of money.
