Cable channels flickering problem - goes dark and also see severe distrubance on image quality
It's been happening over a week now where the cable image goes dark for 3 seconds and comes back normal. Also the image quality goes bad. I tried to reset the router and followed the instructions given over the phone but that didn't help as I see it's happening more frequently to a point where I just had to shut the TV down. Please help.

What channel(s)?
Have you tried resetting the DVR/Receiver?

Model: C61-500
Channels - Happens to all channels
Yes, I did reset the receiver and it stays good for a few mins and then continues to behave the same way

What your main Genie DVR model number?
Did you reset that box, too?
It's the main Genie DVR that feeds video to the Minis.

Oh, no I did not refresh the main receiver...here's the model number: HR54-500. I just sent a refresh signal from website to refresh main website..let me see how it behaves later tonight.

"Refresh" is different than "reset". Reset using the red button near the access card.
