Can not control our Bose 321 sound system with the Directv remote RC73

We can help with your remote pairing @hank33.

1. Press and hold Setup on the remote until all five source buttons light up.
2. Press the desired source button.
3. On the remote keypad, enter the first device code for your brand of SAT box.
4. Check that the source button blinks twice and turns off after the code is entered.

There is no “Setup” button on this remote.

1. Press MENU on your remote.
2. Select Settings>Remote Control>Program Remote.
3. Choose the device (TV,audio,DVD) you wish to program. If you don't see your TV or device listed, use the code lookup tool to find the 5-digit code.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete programming.

We did that - please see my original post.

These instructions are correct. When I had to pair & program a new remote I selected Bose 321. I didn't see at first that there was another choice further down the menu for 321GS which is more correct and is the one that works for just the volume. I don't know why 321 and 321GS weren't next to each other! Thank you.
